A Great Site
Stayed on this site at the beginning of September and we can only echo the positive comments others have made. It's a very busy site which is managed very well by the staff who were polite and friendly.
The location for visiting Rudesheim and other attractions around the river is perfect.

Excellent week in Rudesheim
Beautiful caravan site on the banks of the Rhein and within comfortable walking distance of Rudesheim. The Rhein is a busy river with many barges and tourist boats constantly passing the site. This provides the site with a certain buzz of activity without encroaching on the peace and quiet.
Spaces are provided on a first come first served basis and the system for allocation on arrival works extremely well. The manager was most helpful when finding us a space.
The toilet blocks were the cleanest I have ever experienced on a camp site.
The bar/cafe and small store are just about adequate but given the fact that Rudesheim has a magnificent number of eateries anything above what is provided on the camp site is not really needed.
Lidl, Aldi and Rewe are all located within 3 mins drive.
The only minus point is the washer dryer machines. The lady manager was most rude when asked how to operate the only existing dryer when requesting operation instructions. The dryer did not dry our clothes at all and when challenged another token was simply slammed down on the counter. Her attitude should have been helpful but instead she chose to vent frustrations on to us because the dryer machine did not do the job for which we had paid for. Notwithstanding this we will be staying at the camp site again in the future. Fantastic location and within easy reach of all those beautiful Rhein locations. Camp site kept very clean indeed.
Rhineland Wonder
We have just spent a wonderful week at this site and can only echo the good comments of previous club members. We were greeted by name when we arrived and the friendliness of the owners and staff continued throughout the week. We counted ourselves very fortunate to have been allocated a pitch overlooking the R. Rhine and although we have read comments of overcrowding due to pitches not being delineated we saw no instances of this causing a problem. The toilet facilities are superb and kept very clean and tidy. The location is excellent for walking into Rudeshiem along the river promenade and for access to all the local attractions, of which there are many. Lidl and Aldi supermarkets are also within easy walking or driving distance. The municipal open air swimming pool adjacent to the site provides excellent swimming facilities at a very modest price and as we were lucky to have hot sunny weather during the whole of our visit we enjoyed using it. There were very few children on site during our stay but the aforementioned swimming pool off site and the play area on site were good for families. Overall an excellent site run by friendly family owners and highly recommended.
Our First Time Abroad
THis was our first trip abroad in our Motorhome, and we chose Germany as we were familiar with the country. We had not been to this area before.
From the moment we arrived, the staff at the site were really friendly and helpful - nothing was too Much trouble. The facilities were spotless, the best we have every experienced!
Great location for exploring this area. As previous reviewers have said, it was busy, but very slick! We were offered a variety of locations on the site.
Would recommend without hesitation, and would visit again.

A lovely site
Visited end of July 2016 and as expected site was very busy - however we were offered a choice of three pitches and chose to stay near the entrance to avoid the hustle and bustle of centre of site. Very helpful and pleasant staff. The setting is perfect for visiting Rudesheim as within easy walking distance along the river. Toilet facilities are the best ever seen in over 30 years of caravanning/motorhoming - perfection, and exceptionally well maintained. Only a small shop but as access to the town is easy, no problems. Would definitely visit again.
Excellent Site
Wonderful location just outside town with easy access to the Rhine. Facilities excellent and staff very friendly. Town has a lot to offer, for oldies like us the Drosselgrasse was worth seeing but not staying too long! Enjoyed the cable car trip and driving through the vines, also visit to Abbey and activity on river.

Great / relaxing stopover
Site was ok - Shower and toilet facilities were amazing - some of the best. Fantastic location on the Rhein and walking distance to the local town where you can find shops and loads of places to eat. We stayed for 1 night which was probably enough as the only criticism was the size of the pitches and it was all a bit chaotic - ie they are not really marked out and you get squeezed in where they can put you. Overall good enough though and some pitches did look pretty nice.

Great location
Fantastic site on the Rhine right next to Rüdesheim. Very clean and modern facilities. Helpful and friendly staff. Highly recommended. Rüdesheim is beautiful traditional Germany town with great food, wine and beautiful scenery. Recommend a ride on the cable car. Again recommend book though the caravan club as makes everything easy.
Excellent site
Beautifully situated site, on the banks of the Rhine, toilet blocks & showers were spacious & spotless, - cleaned regularly, and of a very high standard.WiFi is free, but coverage is a bit patchy.
Not much for children to do on the site, but there is an excellent outdoor swimming complex just outside the site, which was very quiet
Very hand for the supermarkets which were all situated within 5 minutes walk, and the town centre was also just a short walk, we didn't use the car at all whilst we were here, as everything is so close & there was plenty to do in Rhudesheim itself.
