Friendly but scruffy
We stayed for 7 nights in April 2015. The site is built on a slight slope next to Regio 4* hotel. The staff are very friendly and speak very good English. There is a small shop and bar on site which also serves snacks during high season. The pitches are marked out by large marble slabs but when we visited the patchy grass was quite long and had obviously not been cut for several months. The sanitary blocks whilst not the cleanest are huge with about 21 showers and the same hand basins, toilet cubicles and washing sinks, etc. We had no problems with the electricity supply even when it rained continuously for 24hrs. The hotel offers a discounted one plate meal in the cafetreira for campers which was of a very good quality. An excellent site for visiting Salamanca (the bus stops in hotel car park) and surrounding area but it is a little tired.
