We stopped here for a couple of days after our overnight trip from Portsmouth. Easy to get to from Santander. We travelled in the low season and it was very quiet, which was good for us as it was out first overseas trip (3rd trip in the caravan!). However, as low season, the town was dead - it really is seasonal here.  Great beaches just outside of the site and you can hear the sound of surf crashing overnight. There seemed to be a number of static vans and old people lived in them, which wasn't a problem as they were all exceedingly pleasant and friendly. Site staff were very friendly and helpful, only 6A on electric though.
