1st Time in Spain with the CC

Why we have never been here before via the Bilbao route will always be a mystery (saving on time/fuel/tolls and the stress of 100s miles through France). 45 mins from the ferry and the holiday begins. The town has more than enough to keep you fed and watered and has a 8-10 week busy season. The beaches are superb, surfing, rock pools, swimming and wave jumping. There are several busy all-spanish areas as you enter  the site but once further in the pitches are larger and quieter and yes you do have a longer leg stretch to the showers but they are spotless with the team of cleaners who work tirelessly. The site is geared up for the peak weeks with great pools, great shop and bar/restaurant and a table of events. Friendly staff on-site and most definitely a Spanish feel to the site and the area rather than a French site 75% Brits and feeling like home. If you want great campsite thats safe, great beaches, good food, several nearby villages (Santona -fishing port), if the weather changes then Bilbao & Santander are a lifesaver to explore then try it !!! Just back from 2 weeks which was not enough as always.....
