The location and surrounding area very beautiful, A bit noise as its more a family location. Will stay there again as its close to family and friends.
Wouldn't be staying again
Stayed here 21st to 28th October 2018
Overall the camp was fine. There wasn’t any entertainment during our stay but would think it would be noisy over the camp as mentioned before. Found it strange you have a card for your showers for hot water and have to pay for more if you run out. Although I was aware of the electric situation, they didn’t inform me on arrival that you have to pay if you use over their daily limit. They didn’t have books/guides/info in English as they had run out. The restaurant looked really lovely so on the last night we ate there with our disabled young man. Starters were good. Tomato soup, L’Escargots and bread with garlic butter. Mains were Burger, veal Cordon blue and beef goulash. My beef was “OK” but didn’t finish it, our young man thought burger was great but my wife’s “cordon bleu” which I tasted as well was awful. My wife said to the waiter that we weren’t paying for that and he said that isn’t the way it works, my wife said how does it work then, waiter said you try something else. My wife said “I don’t want anything else and he (meaning me) didn’t even finish his goulash and eats anything. At this point the waiter said “OK Whatever you want, then get the hell out”. I said that’s very rude and he said “your rude people”. So, its a shame that this person spoiled the occasion and time spent there, I didn't get his name but he is the taller of the 2 gentlemen in the bar/restaurant area.
Out of main season is very different!
We brought our caravan here for five nights at the beginning of October and there were only a few Germans and Dutch at that time. Having looked at the sites own website before booking, and as confirmed by the other club member review, this site is likely to be vey bust and noisy in the hight of summer. The facilities available suggest there is a large focus on families with children. Not all the facilities were open when we stayed (main pool closed and only one toilet block open) but that was not an issue for us. Electricity is monitored and you pay extra if you use over 4 kwh per day and as it got cold at the end of the day and overnight - we did! Also you get a pre-loaded card for using hot water in the showers and basins and you can add to that for the washing machines, dryers etc. The toilet block had been done out like a Greek temple and was kept very clean and warm. Some very good woodland walks directly from site and plenty of interesting places to visit. Although the Luxembourg locals will tell you nowhere in their country is more than an hour away, be alert to the fact that almost all the roads are narrow and winding and general progress is slow. We would particularly recommend a visit up to Esch sur Sure which is both picturesque and interesting. We had a meal in the on site restaurant which at 14 Euros for three courses was excellent.

Countryside site but a little noisy
Used as a stopover for 1 night travelling from Austria to Belgium. Sat-nav directions OK for this site. Pitch size good with electric, water & drainage. Strange set-up with the water on the pitch as none of the taps have handles to turn (you have to request a special key at reception to use the taps). The on-site restaurant looked good, although we weren’t able to get a table so had to use the takeaway around the back. The loud organised music started early evening & went on until late; not what you want after a long day’s drive & need some sleep! These are our experiences of using as a 1-night stopover site; perhaps we would have rated this higher if we had been able to stop longer?
