Peaceful few days at Doolin
We spent a few days at the Nagles-Doolin site. Weather was awful for the first couple of days, but after that was gorgeous. We were there out of season so everything was very quiet and peaceful. We had a lovely fully serviced pitch, overlooking the bay. Other than the odd visit to the toilet, we didn't use any of the facilities on the site. While there we visited the cliffs of Moher, went to the Doolin Cave to see the amazing stalagtite, took a ferry trip to the small aran island and then rode a pushbike around it, did the scenic ferry ride back to see the cliffs from the sea, and went out to the Burren, to see the hill fort and prehistoric tomb. This was a lovely site to explore this area from, especially out of season.
