Great site next to the Loire
Spent two nights here early September and unfortunately caught some rain so pitch very muddy - nothing anyone can do about that! We liked the location and found the access to the bike paths excellent. Cycled to Saumur and had lovely lunch before heading back and visiting the troglodyte caves. Fantastic and not to be missed.
Restaurant very popular but we didn’t visit. Right on edge of pretty town and lovely castle.
