Great site and location
We stayed here for 4 nights between 1st and 5th of August. When we first arrived reception was heaving and the girl who was suppose to escort us to our pitch got confused and took the wrong family. Eventually things were sorted. The pitch was more or less as far away from reception and the pool as you could get but it was by the river and was in great location (away from the huddle and bussle) and very big. The facilities are good but do become busy at certain times. The pool and bar areas were excellent although crowded. The shop was good but expensive. Lots of activities to do on site (eg canoeing, archery) and the site has an 'excursions' desk. We went on a gyrocopter flight over the Gorges du Verdon which was fantastic, horse trekking in the hills which was a great experience and drove to Mont Ventoux (in the MH). Not the sort of site to go to in the summer if you want a quiet holiday. The area of Valonne is wonderful for running, walking and cycling and the old town is really interesting to wonder around.
