Well cared for site
We stayed at Les Saules for a one night stop over in mid-June on route further to the south east during our French odyssey and found it to be nicely presented. The warmth of the welcome and helpfulness of staff was very good - as were the provision of facilities - extremely clean.
The pitching was of free choice to the caravaner and was of approximately 10m x 12m which was shaded by tall silver birch trees which allowed dappled sunlight through. The grass had been clipped very short which rendered it slightly muddy after some heavy rain in the preceding weeks.
The only downside for us was the length of the walk to dispose of grey water (to the block at the back edge of the site) and having to take one's own loo paper along when those facilities were needed!
Pool; bar and restaurant were all very good, and there is a large supermarket (some 3 miles away) which supplements the limited provisions available from the site shop.
We would agree with a previous reviewer who said that this site deserves more time being spent there. We may well do that when we return!!
