We chose this site as it was close to beach and town. It fitted bill. Arrival was a little fraught on a very hot Sun afternoon. Reception staff got agitated about parking for arrivals and there was lots of gesturing. After a wait we were allocated pitch and told to wait for a staff member to escort us. The pitch was unsuitable due to a tree blocking the access and making it impossible to get MH on to it. After a re visit to Reception got a much larger pitch which was fine. Toilets are clean and no problems. The site is very large and it is a long walk from pitches to reception. Town is modern and clean and beaches are great. There are nice bars and restaurants and a lovely wine merchant. There is train service with limited but adequate service to Pornic the next town which has a nice harbour. The beach has an enclosed area where water level is maintained for swimmers due to the very long tidal runs. Swimming pools very complex and would be greart for families we did not use preferring the beach. We would return and would happy to reuse this site
