Lovely site in a stunning location
A very basic site but in a stunning location; virtually on the beach overlooking the sea. The toilet facilities are a little basic. The ladies and gents are separate which may be preferred by some but the toilet block is basically a shed! The toilets themselves are a little primitive - the gents has two conventional toilets, the others are of the “hole in the ground” variety! There seems to be only two water taps for the whole site and the only chemical waste disposal is in the (ladies!) toilet or at the motorhome service point close to reception, along with the only indicated grey waste disposal point. Locating and connecting the electricity supply can also be a challenge! A long cable is needed and sometimes you have to pass these through hedges and across other pitches.
We were expecting to find a covered pool as shown on the website but the cover seems to have been removed.
One positive point is that the site has a bar/restaurant which was open daily (apart from Monday). This is probably because it is adjacent to a car park and is open to the public. The food was excellent!
The area is beautiful! The surrounding beaches are gorgeous, the Port Town of Perros Guirec is within easy reach and a trip along the Corniche Bretonne towards Tregastel Plage and Trebeurden is definitely not to be missed! We adore this stretch of coastline and with white sandy beaches you could definitely be in the Caribbean - and have a beach to yourself!
The staff on site are friendly efficient and helpful.
The views from the site itself are stunning. The bay of the seven isles is gorgeous and the sunsets over the bay are some of the finest we’ve ever seen! Walking on the beach at low tide is a joy!!
All in all, the slight issues with the site are more than compensated by the pluses!! In fact we’ll probably be back!!
Also don’t miss the seafood!
