I am beginning to wonder what criteria the C&MH club have when recommending a site. We’ve been in France for 6 weeks and 3 of the sites recommended have been of a poor quality but this one takes the prize for worst kept site. On arrival the first thing you see is a scruffy trampoline and dismantled football type stadium! The pool needs cleaning, scruffy sunbeds scattered everywhere never tidied up - gate broken into pool. All pitches need weeding, mowing and hedges all overgrown. The site is very quiet and I suspect is in financial trouble. We had just left a site on the ile de re (not recommended by C&MH) which was clean, well managed and €10 a night less expensive. This site insisted we paid up front so we couldn’t go elsewhere despite there being a much smaller prettier immaculate site just up the road. Come on C&MH get your inspectors out and be honest with your customers - we are losing faith in you.
