Well located site for sightseeing.
This is a pretty site but I agree with the other reviews on here. The gravel roads are awful, it sticks to everything and covers the caravan & car when you go in and out. There was only one toilet block near to where we were and you had a good distance to walk to get there. The pitch we were allocated involved crossing a bridge which was no mean feat given our almost 8ft caravan and was thick with mud having been churned up by previous occupants. I do appreciate there had been rain but still not pleasant to sit/ walk on.
The covered pool was nice and was mostly empty when we were there in June. The restaurant was staffed by just one man serving & apparently cooking although we heard alot of microwave pings prior to food arriving & the wait for food and drinks was terrible. We witnessed people leaving as they were fed up of waiting.
The location of the site was good for sight seeing but I would be in no rush to return.
