Plenty of Activities
Our group of 5, 3 adults and 2 children, stayed here in August 2018 on a premium pitch with its private sanitary block. This is a lively, busy site in high season with a great activity program for children of all ages. The site is well maintained. Most of the staff speak English and all were friendly. If you want a quite site then this is not for you. Having said that I heard no noise after 23:00 except for the pleasant noise of the waves on the nearby beach. It was fantastic for our grandchildren. The take away pizzas are from 7.90 euro a little expensive but really good. The shop in high season opens at 8:30 you can buy bread croissants etc without ordering. It is a little isolated in that there is nothing in walking distance except 300 yards away a restaurant/salon du the "Les Cabines". The nearest supermarket is at Saint Mere Eglise - Super U it is a smallish supermarket with a petrol station. We had a great time and intend to revisit, there's a lot to see in the area and plenty to keep any children active on site. A word of caution regarding going to Bayeux there are long queues for the tapestry. When arriving and going to reception there is no clearly defined parking bay. I recommend parking in the middle leaving room to take the first turn left, before reception and the barrier as you may be allocated a pitch that is not accessed via the barrier
