The site I found was ideally situated for WW2, locations and museums. I stayed a week 6/2019, the weather was very rough with gale force winds, which with the brilliant pitches, being sheltered by some lovely trees, we were kept safe. There are four toilet blocks, and are regularly cleaned to a high standard. The snack bar/Bar had only limited opening hours during June, which was a shame. A group of young people were allocated to a pitch, with their four tents, and their radio was so loud, it may not be suited to all. I was very impressed with the staff, some of whom had more than one role, literally running to get things done. I would visit again.
