Very nice site, close to Utah Beach and Museums etc. Also close enough to visit other Museums and St Mere Eglise which is well worth a visit if you are interested in the history of WW 2. The pitch we had was very private and quiet. The toilet block was kept clean and provided all the facilities you would want. Access to the site and all the pitches is easy. Staff were very helpful and really couldn't do enough to help. We will definetly be back next year for longer stay.
Happy times
Stayed here for 14 nights very good site staff very friendly (we forgot our sky box power lead and the reception staff loaned us one ) plenty of shower blocks n toilets at least 4 blocks very clean swimming pools very good a god site for looking around Normandy
Happy Campers...
We stayed during the Easter school holiday 2016 - the site was very quiet with lots of room to move, no queues for anything, our pick of pitches and great facilities. The pitch had hedges and so gave some shelter from a cool wind. Staff were friendly and helpful and spoke good English. Most other guests seemed to be French or Belgian. A good base for our bike rides to St Mere Eglise, and Utah memorials with quiet lanes and small roads across the marais. The site was so quiet and peaceful in the evenings with only the wonderful bird song to listen to and it has a fantastic beach just across the road. Excellent value for money at this time of year.

Good in parts
Good location for Cherbourg Ferry, visiting D-Day beaches and other 2WW sites. Also, very near a beach itself. On site facilities a little mixed. It seems to have just one shower block for which there was often a queue. Our pitch (right opposite to the shower block) was sometimes a gathering point for on-site children/teenagers and so was noisy. If we visited again, which we may, we'd ask for a slightly larger and, hopefully quieter pitch.

Read carefully
The brochure and website made great promises about this site and in general it was true. Good sized level pitches, good facilities always kept clean, nice friendly staff with the exception of one or two snotty examples.
However, here is my advice. DO NOT PAY FOR COMFORT PITCHES because you might get the pitches we did. Level yes, own water and drainage yes but you had to drive passed the bins, the out in the open toilet emptying point and , public car park to get to your pitch. Once we were pitched we discovered we were on the main route to the actual campsite for the people from the car park, from the tents and other pitches. It transpired that we were actually outside of the barrier security system and anyone could just DRIVE in and interfere with our stuff if they wished and no one would know. If i had not had over the top security items fitted i would have been very concerned about leaving my van. To repeat lovely site just be careful were they put you.

O.K. for a stop over on the way South
We used the site as a stop over on the 9th August 2015 whilst travelling further South. Arrived about 5pm and were greeted on reception by a very good English spoken french girl who directed us to our pitch and explained what was available. Great.
The pitch itself was grassed quite small and wuld be tricky for the less confident and had high hedges on 2 sides a shared brick BBQ between 2 pitches and bordered a path through to the main facilities and toilet blocks. This was quite busy and we thought it would be an issue as the site was VERY busy. We were pleasantly surprised, by 23:00hrs everything went quiet and allowed us a good nights sleep for onward travel.
The site would allow good starting position for visits to the sites of the D-Day landings in particular the American beaches as this site is on UTAH beach and is directly across a minor road from the beach. Great
OK, but better campsites in the area.
We stayed here in late July, and the site was busy. Unlike other reviews our pitch was quite small, so I guess it's pot luck what you get.
Oddly, we were also stuck in the middle of a load of static caravans, so maybe our experience would have been better if we'd have been sited with the rest of the camping areas. The toilet block nearest us was quite busy, and I would have liked to have seen it cleaned (and maintained) a bit better, as there was often a smell of drains which wasn't pleasant. Having said that the staff were polite and efficient, the pool area nice (although chilly, even though they are listed as heated), and the on site shop not too expensive and well stocked. We used the takeaway once, but the chips were not nice, so would not recommend. If you want a base to explore the surrounding area then this site is OK, but sadly we are unlikely to return.
7 Days peace in peace.
This is a great site for D Day beaches. Utah only just up the road. Bayeux and St. Mere eglise within easy reach. The site itself is a mixed site with a lot of statics. This was not a problem for us. Our pitch was huge. Room for at least two caravans and awnings. We made the most of the space. The facilities were always clean and well appointed but the music they played was a bit weird. This site is flat and easy to get to, but remote. Nearest town St mere eglise about 9kms away. This has great museum and supermarket. The beach just across the road is huge. We enjoyed cycling on the back roads and along the coast. All flat. The reception staff were very helpful arranging a medical appointment for my wife who sustained a bad back. I would use this site again.

Beautiful site with excellent amenities and perfect location near Utah beach. Pitch was huge and the staff really courteous. This is a perfect base to visit all the major landing zones from WWII.
Great holiday
Just back from more than a week here. Great place to stay, especially if you have children as there is so much for them to do, most of which seemed to be very reasonably priced. Pitches easily big enough, staff always friendly, toilet facilities good.
Negatives: If I was being really picky the paper dispensers in the toilets took a while to be refilled when they ran out, it is also the other side of the beach on a completely flat bit of ground therefore you will feel any wind that is blowing at the time, but really these are minor considerations and we would cheerfully go back.
