Vey disappointing
We thought the site sounded great in the CC brochure so turned up with high expectations one evening in late June 2016, noting that we were still in low season so should qualify for the £13.44 rate. The staff were unhelpful and appeared to deny that there was a low rate - the woman on reception wanted to charge us the equivalent of nearly £150 for 3 nignts (for 2 adults in a camper van) which was much more than we had been paying on other, better sites in Northern Spain and a lot more than the CC brochure had led us to believe. The site seemed to have little character and the pitch we were offered was little more than a parking spot in a field, with no shade. Moreover, someone had parked a car on the pitch and the staff just shrugged their shoulders. We soon decided it was not for us and luckily found an excellent alternative site a mile or so away, nearly as close to the beach, which was much better value (Las Palmeras) with staff who couldn't have been more helpful - such a contrast!
