Having read the reviews, we were expecting a bit more from this site, to be honest. On arrival we were told to make sure we kept the toilet block clean, which is a slightly odd thing to be instructed. Notices outside the toilet block stated that the block was cleaned 3 times a day - at 7am, 1.30pm and 10.15pm. Really don’t think this was the case as, on several occasions, toilet rolls had run out and the floors were dirty and slippy. Showers were also luke warm. The site itself is green, with lots of trees and pitches demarcated with hedges. This does make for some narrow pitches and manoeuvring around the site can be tight. We saw a few people having to shunt in tight spaces to avoid trees scraping their outfit. It was quite rainy during our stay and the site doesn’t drain that well. Lots of surface water sat on the pathways and pitches. The area is nice and the village of Jumièges is lovely. However, we probably wouldn’t stay here again, given the facilities and nature of the site.
