Good stopover

Spent three nights here on way home. The site is quite large and popular for short stays. Facilities are adequate. The restaurant was excellent. Didn't use bar or takeaway. Bit surprised that bar shop and takeaway all closed at lunchtime! The pool is covered and warm. The reception staff were efficient and helpful. The nearby town of guines is not worth visiting. Cite Europe shopping centre is worth a visit. There is also a designer outlet but didn't try that. There are quite a lot of permanent tents and mobile homes on the site. I would use again for stopover but probably not for a longer stay.

superb for a first or last night

We stayed at this site on our way back from our first trip to Spain. It is great for catching a ferry but far enough away to still feel like you're in real France. The main reason for our review is to praise the onsite restaurant. The food and service were excellent and we would highly recommend booking as soon as you reach the site as does get fully booked. Reception can do this for you  check in. Will certainly be returning.

Very relaxing site

Great location, handy for Calais and supermarkets.  Large pitches, very well kept site.  Peaceful and relaxing.  Staff very helpful.  Used this for a number of years as our last stop before heading for the ferry.  Toilets and showers clean but old fashioned, could be modernised.  Overall a great site and we will be back .

convenient and well run

A useful site at the start and end of a holiday further south. Helpful staff, good pitches, clean, good food. Carrefour a couple of km away. What more do you need? PS You could spend a whole enjoyable holiday here.

Great Site & Great Location

We have stayed here many times when heading south for 1 or 2 nights, and also on our return home to the UK. Have always used the Caravan Club to book us in and wouldn't have any problem recommending this site. Pitches are all generous - those away from the road are the quietest. Staff always helpful.

Great site

Short stop over on way back home, should have stayed longer. Clean and well kept site, very easy booking in and staff very friendly. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Great stopover

We've stayed at this site six times and have always been impressed. Large, well mainted grass pitches mainly in the shade of beutiful trees. Freindly, helpful staff and good facilities. Highly recommended for a pre Channel-crossing stopover – or longer.

La Bien Assise

Preferred stop on way out and coming back, have even used it for longer stays to tour around the area which is well worth it for the coast road down to Boulogne and the local war sites. Site has large pitches but those behind reception are next to the road which can be noisy in the morning. Great dog walk at back right hand side of site. Has a bar restaraunt on site but there is also one adjoining the site at the back which is excellent but needs to be booked.

Beautiful site

Stayed overnight on way back from France as we have in the past. This is a beautiful and well run site with delicious food in the restaurant. Would definitely stay here again.
