This is a good short stay site for either of the ports Bilbao or Santander and a good position from which to visit the Bodegas. The site has rather narrow access roads so we struggled to get onto the pitch we finally located after an hour of driving and walking around the site. We were very disappointed that no plot had been reserved for us - we were just advised to go and find a spot in a large ringed area on a map. All the plots in the area were either far too small to accommodate a large caravan or were already occupied by large motorhomes. We wandered around the site for some time until we found 1 plot which was big enough for our van to sit on sideways. When we asked if we could use this plot we were told it was free but there was no water or drainage on the plot which we had requested when we booked. We thought the staff managing the plot allocations in the office seemed rather disorganised and had no idea we had a large unit reservation.
