This site is a ten minute walk into Haro, restaurants, coffee shops, and sightseeing, just outside town there is a Lidl. Even closer are loads of Bodegas and for a small fee tours and tastings are available, well worth it. Just down the road, that's driving for 20 minutes, is Briones and an amazing Museum about Rioja and is MUST see, but allow at least 2-3 hours. This site is a great location for wine buffs, drinkers, snifters, but not members of AA.
