A peaceful site with great views

We were here out of season at the end of September. The site was quite peaceful, there were a lot of caravans but most of them were on seasonal pitches. The pitch was hardstanding, but the grass was so waterlogged that we couldn't put our awning up. We didn't use the facilities much, but they were lovely and clean with plenty of hot water. The view of the Galtee mountains was fantastic. From the site we went to Tipperary (not very exciting at all), Cashel and Cahir, both of which were better. From here, we made the long but easy drive back to Dublin for the ferry.
