Well worth a visit
This is a lovely site, about two miles, or 20 minutes walk, from the centre of Killarney. The lady on reception was friendly and advised us where to visit locally. We pitched our motorhome on one of the hard standings near the main entrance, nice and level. Water taps nearby or a hose by reception. No real noise problem with the railway line. The toilet/shower block was lovely and clean. You pay €1 for a shower but have no choice about the temperature of the water, luckily the temperature was ok for me. The only problem was that there is no heating in the shower block. Fine in summer but we visited this site in March, it was a bit chilly. We visited the Ring of Kerry but enjoyed the Dingle Peninsula much more as you can see the Kerry mountains across the water and it's a bit quieter. Muckross House and gardens were well worth a visit with a lovely walk to the waterfall. Courtney's Bar in Killarney was ideal for craft ales and delicious Guinness.
