We took our caravan to this site in the middle of June. This was a nice site, with very friendly and helpful staff, ample and clean washroom and toilet facilities and flat and reasonably spaced out pitches. It's located on the outskirts of Killarney so it's a good walk into town. Better to go by car or bicycle. Killarney itself is vibrant and there is plenty to see and do both within the city and in the surrounding area. Nearby Muckross House is well worth a visit. Other attractions in the area include the Gap of Dunloe, Carrintoohil (highest mountain in Ireland), Ring of Kerry and The Dingle. The scenery in the area is stunning! Two other comments are that you can't rely on the weather and that the area is very definitely geared up for tourism. We were amazed at the sheer number of hotels and B&Bs in Killarney and the surrounding area. It was also noticeable how clean and tidy everywhere was!
