Well laid out site with excellent spacing between hard standings. Electricity on pitch and water nearby. Toilets very clean, with paper and soap, showers cost 1euro. Several lounges with microwave and toaster plus a TV lounge. Super views, surrounded by trees and hills to the south. Free Wi-Fi but quite poor TV reception. There is a train line nearby (in the trees) but not many trains and certainly not a disturbance. Staff really friendly and helpful and they keep some staples in the shop. Only slight negative is the grey water disposal, a small, circular hole outside reception that takes some manoeuvring to use and can be a queue at peak leaving times. Really handy for Killarney. Quite a walk to the town but there is a shuttle bus (2 euro p.p. single) and a taxi costs 10 euro each way. However, going in for the day and again for the evening = 40euro. Just up the road you can hire a car for 30euro a day! 10 minute walk to large Supervalu.
