From the moment you drive in you get the impression that this site is run with great care, attention to detail and that includes investing in maintenance that other sites could take a lesson or two from. We were welcomed and very well briefed on what to do as others have commented on - and we definitely packed more into our short stay than we would otherwise have done, really helpful. Toilets and showers were immaculate, good electric supply, easy water and waste disposal, firm well drained pitches. Very quiet - the trains really aren't a problem. Whether you want to go to town, the multiple historic sites or head off into the country - the location is perfect. I can't think of one thing to say about improving the site - we had a fantastic time and will definitely be back. The layout is perfect and the ground is firm and well drained.
