Not the best choice by far of the sites we stayed at.
We stayed her for 3 nights in July, arriving ahead of the Bank Holiday. We were offered 'the adult only' area when we arrived but this was already packed and was on the grass. We always prefer hardstanding for our motorhome. We were then shown the other areas, which were far more open and well spaced. This was in the family area. The facilities were ok at this stage but they were not as the clean and modern as the ones by the entrance and the standard deteriorated as the Bank Holiday and more families arrived. Children rode bikes with no thought of cars or motorhomes and small children were still out playing well after 10.30pm. The wardens were friendly and helpful, especially when it was discovered our hose would not connect to the taps to obtain water!
On the plus side the site is excellent for Killarney town, Ross Castle and Muckross House, all can be visited by cycle routes.
