The peace and quiet of rural France

We visited this site for three days in May 2016. The pitch was a generous size and the washroom facilities were good - one half of the toilet block being modern and all of it being clean and well -maintained. The site is quiet and the site shop was good. We found the lady proprietor to be outstandingly helpful and welcoming. The nearby town of Honfleur is beautiful and well worth a visit. However we tried to get there by bike and found it too far for us, as well as having to use main roads which we don't like to do. The owner gave us a lift there and back, which was most kind of her. One problem with rural France - there just aren't enough buses. There is a motorhome car park just outside of Honfleur though and we could have used this had we not been worried about the fuel strike which was on at the time. Altogether a very good site.

Super little site

Only an over-nighter but what a warm welcome. Staff could not be more helpful and it was pouring with rain. Will certainly return for a longer stay. Honfleur is delightful and what wonderful seafood.

Relaxing

Love this site as an ideal mid-way stop over. Francois and his family are always very welcoming. The pitches are large and private. Everyone mentions Honfleur (which is lovely) but we do all our shopping and fuel purchases at Beuzeville-it has a wonderful patisserie! Only bug -bear is we have to pay extra for electricity-not much though!!

Great Site.....

We stayed here as part of our visit to the area and also to catch Stage 6 of the Tour De France. Clearly we needed to explore the route of the Tour stage and the Pont De Normandie bridge does incur a toll at each crossing of €5.40...we have a tag so we didn't have to scrabble for change. Honfleur is a pretty place to visit and as we have a Bongo Camper we had to either park on the roadside on the exit of the town or like we did in a Aire by the river. A kind camping car owner gave us the remainder of his parking ticket for this aire which includes electric and water.  We also cycled out from the site on the local roads which were safe, some climbs were involved, so unless you are a road bike user or keen you may have trouble cycling.  I would recommend this site to anyone, staff we very friendly and facilities very clean, cleaned 3 times a day. There are static 'vans here but that is typical of French sites....

A lovely site.

This site is friendly and located in a pretty wooded valley a short drive from Honfleur. 13amp electricity supply costs 1euro 50 cents per day. The pitches are large with water and drainage. There is a large Leclercs supermarket 10 minutes away on the outskirts of Honfleur. There is plenty to see in the area as well as Honfleur. Pont Audemer is well worth a visit. The site well signposted from the junction on the south side of the Pont de Normandie.

Holiday 2015

Overall a very tidy site and reasonably well maintained. Close to Hornfleur but we had difficulty in Parking and in fact paid a reasonable fee at an Aire to park just for a few hours which we will remember in future instead of using this site.

Short stay June 2015

We stayed here as a stop off point for 2 nights. The reception we received was very friendly and the staff were excellent. The amenities were basic but adequate for our stay. We never tried the pool as the weather wasn't warm enough. Honfleur is a short drive away, and is a beautiful town.

OK

We visited in early August 2014, as an older couple staying for a week to be near Honfleur.  The site was OK for us.  In UK we prefer to use CLs so are quite happy to be self contained - not using site facilities which were...OKish.  Toilet blocks OK but we wouldnt use them unless desperate. We found the pitches small, some really small, & crowded - but I guess that's August. Staff were helpful & friendly.  Great location to be near Honfleur.
