Choose your pitch carefully
We stayed here in mid July 2017 as a final site following our tour of France before catching the Santander Ferry (40 miles away).
The pitches are on the small side and are 'crammed in' and most of them are not level. We were allocated a pitch close to the 5 a side football area - complete with the noise that one would expect from this. I wonder if the club are aware of the standard of pitches being allocated to it members.
The site was very busy with many families on site. It is a shame that none of the parents seem to be interested in what their offspring were getting up to. Notwithstanding this, there was a friendly atmosphere around the camp.
Can't fault the facilities. Clean and plenty of hot water.
I booked the site via the Caravan Club and was told that the minimum stay was 3 nights. I learnt from the proprietor that if I had booked direct then I could have stayed for one night.
The site's only saving grace is that you can walk (15 minutes) to a very nice beach and there are some very nice views of the countryside as you do so.
