We stayed for 8 weeks from mid May until mid July 2017. A well run site with extremely helpful owners and staff. We booked & stayed on a fully serviced pitch which had enough room for us to manoeuvre & park up with our CR 5th Wheel. Our pitch was considered a large pitch, flat, but was only just wide enough for the unit, with one slide out and canopy awning. Touring pitches are on 4 tiered levels with many pitches enjoying beautiful countryside views towards Picos de Europa Mountains (on clear days). Some pitches are situated close to restaurant or children’s play area, so as mentioned in previous posts, choose your pitch wisely. Site facilities are very good, clean and well looked after. Prices in the bar and restaurant were great value and food was excellent. Easy access to a fantastic beach which is within easy walking distance. Nine hole golf course very close – reasonable tariff. Both neighbouring towns, Comillas and San Vincente de la Barquera provide good shopping, banking facilities etc. We enjoyed our long stay during which we experienced the unpredictable weather that this very green, lush, beautiful part of Spain offers. We will definitely return in the future if needing a stopover before/after using Santander ferry.
