We stayed in September 2015. We had booked for
5 nights and stayed 10 nights.
It is a popular campsite with superb new washroom block. The pitches are well laid out and easy to access, level. The girls at reception are cheerful, friendly, extremely helpful and speak excellent English. They will make phone calls to check or book things for you. In September the twice weekley, Tuesday and Friday, bus trips into
Dresden are easy and convenient. ,
The restaurant is good.
Site in the country, quite isolated. Not many places to visit without having to use your car. Sanitary facilities are excellent and spotless. Pitches have electricity water and drainage but have no appearance which makes the site look tired. Does not look like a 5 star site. Lake is handy and easy to access. We went on day trip to Prague with the site as it is very expensive to travel by public transport. Trip was a reasonable price but part of the trip was a guided tour of Prague but no guide was able to speak in English which we did not know until we reached Prague. Long 3 hour bus journey to get to Prague. Reception staff are very friendly and helpful and has a well stocked shop.
