We have just returned from a very pleasant week at resort-de-arendshorst.nl and hope to return. The staff are very friendly and helpful and speak perfect English. The site is well kept and the facilities clean as is all of Holland. The site has a Bar/Restaurant which serves good food they also do take away meals. There is a beautiful area of Holland. The town of Ommen 5 km away is beautiful, always busy. We saw band's in the street and a horse drawn carriage parade. We visited Paleis Het Loo about an hour's drive away it's a journey through three centuries of Orange history. We also went to Giethoorn where we hired a boat to tour the village. There are no roads in the village so it's either walk or as we did, hired a boat to tour the village. There's so much to see and do in this area so were planning another visit next year.
