We arrived on the 13/6/15 and departed on the 26/6/15 on the Poole to Cherbourg route as the ferry is only a few minutes drive away from where we live. This is the first time I have taken a caravan abroad and the first time I have towed abroad.  I believe that this country could benefit from the road construction and infrastructure that they have in France. We encountered no problem driving and on the arrival at the campsite we were greeted with happy and very helpful staff. The pitch we chose could not have been better as we were less than a two minute walk to the fantastic beach. All the facilities were immaculately clean and we encountered no problem whatsoever. The site is in an ideal location for exploring. The town of Les Pieux is only a few minutes drive from the site and has brilliant shops and a couple of supermarkets that do not impose on the local businesses. We are hoping to book as soon as possible for next year as the timing of our holiday worked out well ending just before the start of the French holidays.
