Stopped here a couple of nights to allow us to see Tordesillas. Nice and clean site, not too big with nicely manicured grounds and hedges in-between plot; 10A electricity ;-)).
Very close to town - just a walk over the bridge and you're there. Pop into Restaurante Avenida (just up the hill and on the left hand side for a great menu del dia; also pop down to the ceramic artist two doors down the hill - great ceramics!
Plenty to see in the local area and large Carrefour in Valladolid if you need to replenish on supplies / hardware.
Facilites all clean, safe and the site staff were very helpful.
Report
Stayed here for two nights on our way south. Nice site although looking a little tired but well located for walking into the town which we also found to be very pleasant. The facilities on site were good with clean toilet block. Reception and restaurant were also good and we would be happy to stay here on future Spanish trips.

GOOD FOR A SHORT STAY
Good site for a short stay/stopover. Facilities adequate, restaurant very good. WIFI a bit expensive. Beware the electrics however, this was the only site on our travels that had reverse polarity and no earth.

Pleasant site
Camping El Astral is perfect for the connection to Santander and well worth spending a few days there just to explore this region. The serviced pitch we had was one of the biggest we have ever had, which is unusual in Spain, and we had enough room for the caravan, awning and car with plenty of room to spare. Facilities on site were quite good and the shower block and washing facilities were immaculate.

Good Overnight Stop for Santander
We stayed 3 nights, first night the shower block was filthy but it cleaned the following morning but to be honest it was still not very clean. The restaurant is reasonable with alcohol being reasonably priced but food expensive for what is was. Ok for an overnight stop but would never stay more than one night.
