We used this site for our first and last nights because it’s only 42 miles from Dieppe. We were somewhat reticent about the welcome we might receive following the very critical reviews of the Wardens. We had absolutely no complaints whatsoever and found both Monsieur & Madame to be very friendly, welcoming and helpful. Not everyone can be the life & soul of the party, and M. is certainly rather shy & reserved. However, he was never rude and always efficient. The site itself is quite small, but the pitches of a reasonable size. We had a larger pitch with electricity, water and grey waste disposal. It was more than adequate. There is no restaurant, but the site is within walking distance of the village where there are places to eat. If you have a car Duclair is about 10 minutes drive and there are plenty of restaurants. A good drive/cycle ride is to Duclair, across the river on the free car ferry - it does take motorhomes - and then right to the spectacular Brotonne bridge - no toll - and back to the site. We will certainly return, especially if DFDS continue to offer 20% discount on the Newhaven/Dieppe route for over 60s!
