Stayed here for a week mid September. Very quiet- mainly older couples and a few families. Each pitch it a good size- with sandy soil. Had a superpitch, which provided own drainage and water, which was very useful. Each pitch is bordered with large beech hedges, which gives a great deal of privacy between pitches. Although used own facilities mainly, the toilet blocks were immaculate when we visited. The owners couldn't have been more welcoming and helpful- and the small bar was pleasant. Pool was quite good (and warm) despite its smaller size. Local village of Jumieges is great, with some good bars/brasseries, and provides a good base for exploring Normandy. Rouen only a short drive away. Would suggest if coming from Calais/Dunkirk, that you head to Yvetot and towards the Pont du Brotonne, then through St Wandrille, as it is far easier than most online route planners suggest. Will definitely use this site again- would be very convenient as others have found for a stop-off en-route to the south of France. Was very pleased with this site- great stay!
