The owners of the site are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We spent 6 nights at the site. The hedges dividing the pitches were good. Stops someone parking on part of your pitch. On the other hand due to their size they made the pitch a bit claustrophobic. They were much larger than shown in the picture!! We had booked a large pitch but we had to shoe horn our outfit in. We have a Volvo XC60 and a Lunar Clubman, with the awning up we had 12ins between the hedge and the awning door to get out. The toilets didn’t have seats but were spotless clean. The shower block was also very clean but far too small. They also had the antiquated push button for the water which delivered luke warm water. We used them twice then gave up and showered in the van. There was a small snack bar which was never open. We were there in the middle of June and the site was 70% full. I would call it more of a transient site than a holiday site, there was no holiday atmosphere at all. People would stay one, may be two nights and move on. Also beware many of the pitches are in complete shade by over head trees or large trees on the pitch. Some pitches were very difficult to manoeuvre into. For what we had I found the site quite expensive. Would I return or recommend this site? NO.
