We stopped off for one night to be close to Dieppe, like other reviewers, and it was perfect for this. The pool was very welcome and it's covered too. Nice little bar/snack bar and we ordered bread for the morning. Our only problem was, arriving from the south, we were directed to the car ferry which can not accommodate caravans; we sort of guessed this may happen. 10km north the Bretonne Bridge came to the rescue, just built last year. Our pitch was big enough although on a corner and a bit tricky to get out of with a long van. 'Local taxes' shouldn't worry you, all sites we paid 1.10 euros!
