We have begun or summer trip to Europe at this site for the last three years. It is an excellent location, 30 minutes from the port of Calais, a Leclerc supermarket 5 minutes away and the town of St Omer, maybe 15 minutes away, makes for a lovely half day with moules frites for lunch. The site has a great pool, playground and bouncy castle, but it feels like a family site, nothing commercial about it at all. Also tennis court, table tennis, indoor games barn, restaurant / bar - and still not at all commercial, a lovely atmosphere pervades always. Great for young children on bikes too, with a small woodland area to explore. One shower block is excellent, newer than its counterpart, which is also very good. Very helpful staff, I always enjoy an easy mix of French and English, either is welcomed comfortably. I can't rate this site highly enough as a stop over for the ports. It would also make for a great three days or so checking out the opal coast and world wars sites of interest. Thank you, Gandspette, we will always return!
