Lovely stay 5/6 till 12/6/2016

This was our first trip abroad with the caravan so were slightly apprehensive to say the least. We were delighted with our choice. We were there to tour some of the First World War sites and also to Vist Ypres. The site is in a perfect location for touring the site, we lovely St Omer although beware the museums close on a Tuesday in the area so we had to return to finish our trip there which was no hardship as we went in on our last day, the Saturday and the market was on, just fabulous. It had been very wet prior to our arrival so the ground was a bit soggy but we had a nice pitch and for the most of the week we were on our own in our little area, blissfully peaceful. We didn't eat in the restaurant but heard good reviews. We did have a couple of drinks there and it is a nice relaxing place, fire was on and it was very cosy. Pool was lovely. Whole site is spotlessly clean, toilets and showers were lovely and clean. I can't remember the name of the young gent on reception but he was such a nice guy and so helpful, really lovely. Would recommend this site and would definitely stay here again if we were heading this way.
