A superb campsite in Galicia
This was our first trip to Galicia in our caravan. The accessibility into the site is good - even though we have a small caravan - as it is off a good road and therefore bigger caravans and motor homes would have no problem. The site is run by Herbie and Annette - very warm and friendly couple who are on hand for any queries and advice. Pitches vary in size and each pitch is made private by hedges - the site has many trees as well. The facilities are excellent in terms of toilets, washbasins, showers, washing up area, laundry, motorhome facilities. I really loved the swimming pool - well looked after and a delight to swim in after a day out. There is also a cafe area - bar and hot food served and also fresh bread, croissants are available every morning. The sunsets are amazing from the cafe area. The campsite is open most of the year which is a real plus as many in northern Spain close from end of August onwards. Its situation is good - for visiting A Coruna, Santiago, Costa de Morte and further afield. I cannot recommend this campsite enough - it is fantastic - so if you are planning to go to the West coast of Galicia - give it a try.
