We have just spent a few nights here, after reading about sites panoramic sea views and easy access to beach. It has hardly any sea views from pitches, plenty of tree and bush views. Beach access is down hill across a bridge then down again. People with mobility problems would find site hard going because of the slopes to reach toilet / shower blocks. It didn’t seem worth paying extra for own facilities as you still had no sea views. Pitches are really quite small compared to other sites we have visited in France, especially the lower level on site. It’s up a sharp bend to empty waste water. You definitely need a car, although it was an easy cycle ride into Cherbourg which takes about 45 mins. All in all not a lot to do nearby. There is an easy bus journey into Barfleur which was lovely. Reception staff very good and showers were clean and tidy. Wouldn’t recommend unless you want a easy stop over for Cherbourg.
