Very large campsite with lovely pool
We stayed here for 3 nights in September as part of a 22 night tour of northern Spain and Portugal. We arrived late having stopped in Braga to break our journey. This is a large site and we were told to go on foot to look for a free pitch in one of two areas. This took me a long time as the site was pretty busy. Eventually I found a free spot with low hedges marking the boundaries. Wi-Fi was not great but we were close to the Wi-Fi room where there were tables chairs and sofas for us to use while researching for our trip. We took a bus and the metro into Porto, an hour and a half’s journey with some confusion trying to buy a ticket at the metro machine. The site toilets were clean with one block being quite dated. The pool was cold but lovely after a hot day in Porto. We didn’t use other site facilities but went instead to the local fish shop to buy fresh fish for our bbq. The beach was some distance from the site.
