I absolutely agree. Not only is this unfair to members but also to the hard working staff. We stayed there in December and again last weekend and appreciate that the flood works are causing upheaval however as the nights are lighter now it is really restricting your options to have this 10pm curfew. We walked all the way on the opposite bank to the millennium bridge then all the way back down the opposite bank to walk through the unlocked front entrance. It simply does NOT make sense locking the rear gate.

We had the same last week. May 22. Why is the gate locked. The signs say the work should be finished by now but looks like it will be a while yet.
Can only think it’s a local agreement to ensure people aren’t walking through the residential area late at night but it’s not like it’s a wild party site. It’s a lovely site with easy access to shops and York centre via a lovely river walk when it’s open. Come on Admin. Get something done about this please.

I agree - but it appears that access to the Apartments adjacent to the site (Roomzz) is also via this gate making it even busier.
No hand sanitiser is provided at this gate - despite the fact that everyone using it must open/shut gate and lock it - poos show by the Club
