York Rowntree is an outstanding site. Well located for the city as well as walks and cycle rides. The highlight for us was the welcome given by Eddie when we arrived and witnessed over our five days with many other arrivals. Warm, friendly and extremely cheerful. He recommended an excellent cycle route and dealt so well with any issues in a calm, friendly manner eg driving more than 5mph ....... not bossy but quietly authorative. So present and friendly throughout our stay. He and the rest of the team were brilliant and deserve a big thank you.
