Thoroughly enjoyed our 3 night short break on this excellent site. Brilliant location for visiting York, didn’t need to move the car ( good saving on car parking!) lovely, easy walk along the side of the river into York. Given proximity to the city, the site was quiet, far more so than we had expected. Site is compact as might be expected in the city but with so much leisure space directly outside of the site that was not an issue. Rowntree park ( next to the site) ideal for families and dog walking. Very friendly, efficient team welcomed us and worked tirelessly to ensure the excellent facilities remained immaculate at all times, even though the site was full throughout our stay. There is so much to enjoy in York, whatever your interests. We enjoyed the lovely shops and eateries on Bishy Road ( accessed via the back gate of the site) Thoroughly enjoyed our first ever visit, we will return and have already recommended the site to others.
