This site is only 40 minutes from home, so whenever we go to York it’s just for the day. We decided to give the site a go as we had heard so many good things about it, and how glad are we we did! The site is immaculate, small but perfectly formed. The facilities are spot on, clean, warm and welcoming. The staff were very friendly, helpful and professional, everything you need and want from the club. Walks off site are great, 5 mins into York city centre, and the river walk is just great, nice and flat, perfect for cyclists and dog walkers. This is a premium site, the location is perfect, and although it may seem on the high price end to some, I can’t think where else you would get this location, facilities and city break for less than £100 per night! As for the negative reviews regarding the site staff, they have a job to do, making it fair for everyone, instead of complaining you weren’t allowed to wait on site 40 mins early, have a look at the before you travel page on the web… and take note.
