After 2 years trying to get a pitch at Rowntree Park we were finally successful and visited the site earlier this week (October). We now understand why it is so difficult to find a vacancy!! The site is an easy walk to visit wonderful York and the location next to the river is just perfect. On site the the facilities were spotlessly clean (as has been our experience with all C/C sites). The wardens were friendly and helpful and a special mention to Janet who greeted us on our arrival with a cheery smile and lots of useful tips. We will definitely be back .... just hoping we can get a pitch in 2016.
