Just returned from a 5 night stay, we were met on arrival and were settled on site in minutes by the wardens. We received great advice re shops and attractions in the vicinity. The site itself is compact but all pitches were spacious and well kept, and like all sites you get what you pay for with the larger pitches for caravans with awnings if they are available at time of booking. We just loved this location and walked into York with ease, visited Castle Howard just a short car journey away and a great day out, unexpectedly the York horse racing was on so we spent a short time there, again just a walk away from this caravan site. The huge play park next door has everything for children so this site is suitable for families too. Thanks to the caravan club and the wardens for once again providing a great service .
