Having just spent 4 nights at this site we found it ideal for all attractions in and around York, all within walking distance of the site. I have some difficulties in walking distances but found the walk into and around the city was well within my capability. The site was very well kept and wardens friendly and always helpful. At the time of our visit there was some construction work being carried out around the reception/toilet block, but every evening all of this was cleared away and kept clean. As we only had time to visit SOME of the many attractions, we will be back to discover more.
